Last year, the NWCC Junior Development Team hosted this Rider Ready session on a frosty February morning at the Alkek Velodrome to teach and demonstrate bike skills and safety. Some of the NWCC folk in the photos are Chief Organizer Lori Walker, Daniel and Cristin Walker, Coach Carl Jones, Alkek Velodrome Manager, Alan Bazard, Tim H., Mark and and Tamra Dore,and Eric and Cindy Rasche. The super fast learning rider in the attached photos is Juan Marroquin Jr., a District Sales Manager for Elk Group. He was there with a new bike and benefited from personalized bike fitting and expert instruction in safe braking, group riding, and cornering technique.
